Vauxhall Agila Hatchback car review

Cheap to buy; Agila is not the bargain it seems with sparse equipment levels.

Agila is built in Poland, feels quite solid; one-year warranty is a bit disconcerting; should be reliable.

Tall shape means great visibility, Agila is easy to park; seats are a little flat; ride is pretty good but this little Vauxhall tends to crash over bumps.

Boxy shape means ample head and leg room for four adults; rear seats fold flat turning the Agila into a little van; not as much useful stowage as you might expect.

Driver's airbag is standard on both models, a passenger airbag is one of a long list of extras; no NCAP test as yet.

Just an immobiliser, would benefit from more protection for urban life.
